Guru Digital Arts College Application Process
The application process for Guru Diploma programs requires several steps (think of them as quests you must complete on your way to digital greatness).

Once we have your application, we will guide you through the remaining steps in the process.Alternatively, you can contact us by phoning the school at 780-429-4878, submitting our contact form or visit the school in person at #204, 10359-104 Street in downtown Edmonton. |

Supply the following documentation

Complete the Guru Digital Intelligence Quotient TestOur customized exam measures your basic computer knowledge, reading comprehension, mathematical ability and artistic creation. You'll be given 3 hours to complete the exam. A score of 65% or higher is required to pass. |

Submit portfolio*Submit a portfolio (flexible in content and level of formality) to demonstrate your creativity. Show us some of your best work. Your portfolio may include artwork, illustrations, photography, video/audio production or digital content. Guru prefers disks, web links, photocopies or CDs of your original work. Please DO NOT sent original work! We prefer digital copies, but if you choose to give us physical work, submit it by mail, Fedex or another manual delivery method. Be sure to indicate "Portfolio" clearly and visibly on the package. Guru Digital Arts College is not responsible for lost or damaged items. *Only applicable to the Digital Media Production, and Digital Illustration and Sequential Art Programs. |

Complete Assignment**Guru Digital Arts College will provide you with an assignment that will measure your aptitude for linear thinking and problem solving. You will be given a deadline to complete the assignment to the best of your ability, and an interview afterwards to discuss your results. **This step is only applicable to the Interaction Design and Game Level Development program. |

Interview with our Executive DirectorThe final step in our application process is to talk with our Executive Director about your career goals, background and review your portfolio or assignment. This is a terrific opportunity for us to get to know you, and what you expect from Guru. In turn, our Executive Director will share our expectations of a Guru student and determine whether or not Guru can help you achieve your goals. Upon completion of the above steps and provided you are accepted, Guru will provide you with an official acceptance letter and your digital media education begins! |
