What will you learn?
You will learn to be proficient with both Mac and PC software. You
will work with iMac 24" computers that are dedicated to your study. Eat your lunch or work with your coffee (or juice) at your
desk. Its "your" space.
You'll learn the LEADING Adobe software:
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe InDesign
• Adobe Flash
• Adobe Dreamweaver
• Adobe Acrobat 7
• Adobe Premiere
• AfterEffects
You'll learn Internet techniques that are INDUSTRY STANDARD (World
Wide Web Consortium) such as:
• HTML
• CSS
• Javascript
• PHP
• MySQL
You'll learn fundamental content creation including basic drawing,
photography, videography and creative project management.
You'll have 'mini-projects' where you practice your skills and are
assessed on what you have learned. These projects include:
• Logo design
• Poster design
• Brochure design
• Website design
• Booklet design
You'll be given web space, time and assistance with developing a
web-based portfolio.
Classes are spread out as appropriate over the six months so that you
can learn effectively. Each course is about 40 hours in
duration. The total program is 812 hours.
